In case of an insurance event you have to ensure its investigation by the police. Then you should report the insurance event to our company as well as to the nearest representative of the insurance company with which the vehicle has been insured, and proceed according to the instructions of the insurance company’s insurance surveyor. You can report the insurance event to our company by filling in an Online report which you can find in the Customers section of our website (www.csobleasing.cz), or request by fax at 271 128 033.

The insurance company usually sends indemnification to the owner of the vehicle or machine, i.e. to ╚SOB Leasing. However, the customer may request transfer of indemnification directly to an authorized service or to their own account by filling in an Online request in the Customers section of the website (www.csobleasing.cz), or available by fax at 271 128 033. The customer’s request is approved only on the condition that none of their customer contracts shows outstanding debt. Otherwise, ╚SOB Leasing has the right to settle these debts from the paid indemnification.

╚SOB Leasing has negotiated an agreement with participating insurance companies on the observation of guaranteed deadlines for solving claim settlements.

The vehicle or machine is stolen or total damage is incurred to it

In case of theft or total damage to the vehicle or machine you must ensure investigation of the event by the police. Then you should report the insurance event to our company as well as to the nearest representative of the insurance company with which the vehicle or machine has been insured, and proceed according to the instructions of the insurance company’s insurance surveyor. You can report the insurance event to our company by filling in an On-line report which you can find in the Customers section of our website (www.csobleasing.cz), or by fax at 271 128 034.

The customer’s obligation to continue paying instalments does not end until the day when ╚SOB Leasing receives a police report stating the decision to abandon the search for a stolen vehicle, or a written statement confirming total damage from the corresponding insurance company’s insurance surveyor.

The customer contract shall be terminated after confirmation of the decision to abandon searching for the vehicle / machine, or confirmation of total damage from the insurance company.

After receipt of indemnification from the corresponding insurance company, ╚SOB Leasing will perform a final settlement of the customer’s contract, which will then be sent to the customer by registered mail.

You want to ask for postponement of instalments for your customer contract

A customer may ask for postponement of instalments in writing by filling in our On-line request in the Customers section of our website at www.csobleasing.cz, or by fax at 271 128 031.

Instalments can only be postponed for 3 months, either with or without an extension of instalment plan. The postponement shall come into force in the month following the submission of the application. There is a charge for the performance of this change – the amount of the fee is set according to the valid ╚SOB Leasing scale of service fees, available in the Customers section at www.csoblesasing.cz.

The customer will be informed about the decision of ╚SOB Leasing in writing. In case of an affirmative decision, they will receive a new Instalment plan proposal, a pro-forma invoice to pay the administrative fee and an accompanying letter with information on how to proceed from there.

You want to ask for a change of subject in your customer contract

A customer can apply for transfer of contract to a second party in writing. They have to send a filled-in form providing necessary data regarding the new applicant. The form you can obtain at any ╚SOB Leasing branch.

One of the fundamental prerequisites for transferring a customer contract is the settlement of all current debts and a minimum of 2 months remaining in the customer contract. The application for the transfer of contract is subject to approval. The customer will be informed of the decision in writing. Submission of a request for a change of subject does not release the transferring person from their obligation to pay instalments.

There is a charge for the performance of a change of subject - the amount of the fee is determined by the valid ╚SOB Leasing scale of service fees , situated in the Customers section at www.csoblesasing.cz.

You are interested in premature termination of the customer contract

A customer can ask for premature termination of their customer contract by filling in an Online request, available in the Customers section at www.csobleasing.cz, , or by fax at 222 012 317 (for financial leasing contracts only) or 271 128 030 (for HitKredit consumer credit and hire-purchase contracts).

An administrative fee for termination of a contract is determined by the valid ╚SOB Leasing scale of service fees , which is also located in the Customers section at www.csoblesasing.cz,.

The fee is not charged in cases where the customer signs a new customer contract with ╚SOB Leasing immediately after the termination of the initial contract.
